LA School Board Race Rife with Teacher Union Dollars

California teachers are subject to mandatory monopoly bargaining and compulsory unionism already.   They must either pay forced dues or become a member.  For those agency-fee-paying teachers, their  money may be going  to elect board members who will turn around and do the union’s bidding.   Sarah Favot has the story in the La School Report.

Outside groups have poured more than $10 million into the LA Unified school board election, which already this spring became the most expensive school board race in the nation.

There are just 10 days left until the May 16 election.
