The Concerned Educators Against Forced Unionism Program:
1. Supports teachers’ academic freedom of association.
- Works for a climate of general opinion favorable to an individual’s right to represent him or herself before his or her employer without threat of losing his or her position, to fulfill his or her own professional association needs as he or she sees fit. Informs the public as well as education personnel on the drawbacks of monopoly bargaining and the forced unionism of exclusive representation and “maintenance of membership agreements.”
- Develops and disseminates accurate, relevant information on the dangers to academic and professional freedom posed by compulsory unionism.
- Develops and offers free materials on the Right to Work and compulsory unionism.
