What’s Going on in Right to Work Kentucky?

Just like West Virginia, Kentucky was one of the states that joined in on the #RedforEd movement nearly 3 years ago. The teacher movement caused a tremendous uproar in the moment, but it didn’t result in much.

In an article posted by Mike Antonucci in EIA, he gives an update on what’s been going on in the state:

Fast forward to 2021. Despite the presence of a union-backed Democrat in the governor’s office, the state legislature not only passed a pension bill that includes a defined contribution component, but also a school choice and tax credit bill. The governor vetoed both, but the legislature overrode him, along with more than two dozen other bills he vetoed.MIKE ANTONUCCI, EIA
