Today, we are joined by Milton Chappell from the National Right To Work Foundation, who will elucidate the processes involved in ceasing union dues across various educational institutions, including public schools, charter schools, and private schools.

While the procedures vary depending on the type of school, the fundamental step in union resignation is to assess the funding source of the institution.

Mr. Chappell will guide us through the most prevalent scenarios and address any inquiries you might have.

We invite you to participate in today’s session and encourage you to share the video link with colleagues contemplating union resignation.

As an authority on the subject, Mr. Chappell’s expertise is evident from his extensive list of publications and legal cases, many of which pertain to educators.

Selected Publications:
– “Protecting the Rights of State Employees Against Compulsory Unionism,” featured in California Public Employee Relations, Issue No. 143 (August 2000).
