Keeping Teachers and Kids Captive

Teacher union officials’ distaste for choice in education was evident after President Trump called upon Congress to pass legislation that would help kids get the best education they can.  Apparently kids do not deserve any more respect than teachers do from them.  At least teachers are free to leave the profession or teach at another school.  Sean Higgins has the story in the Washington Examiner.

The American Federation of Teachers, one of the nation’s largest unions, went into a Twitter meltdown after President Trump mentioned school vouchers in his speech Tuesday night.

The union pumped out more than two dozen tweets attacking the idea in the minutes after Trump mentioned it, with several of the comments using all caps to emphasize that vouchers were bad, bad, bad ideas.
