Schoolchildren and their teacher reading in primary class

I’m a Teacher, Not a Radical Union Member. I Don’t WANT TO STRIKE!

We get emails and phone calls every day from teachers who are being forced to strike because they belong to the union and the union has taken a vote to strike. These teaches not only have not only had their voices quelled by militant teacher union officials, they feel they have no recourse but to strike or suffer intimidation and possibly worse, from their union officials.

Teacher union officials have misinformed these teachers, telling them they have no choice, and if they do not strike, they will lose their benefits and liability insurance.

Teachers, you MAY resign your union membership. See below.

THERE IS HOPE!

The National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation, of which CEAFU is a Special Project, is a nonprofit, charitable organization. Its mission is to eliminate coercive union power and compulsory unionism abuses.

On the CEAFU website here you can learn about nonunion, independent groups, both state and national, that offer comparable membership without the exorbitant union dues and the politics. Some of these groups have even more members than their state NEA and AFT affiliates.

The National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation’s website can answer the following questions.

How can I resign my union membership?
