CTU-Led Instituto del Progreso Latino Strike Reached Day 4 on Friday

Backed by the Chicago Teacher’s Union, teachers from Instituto del Progreso Latino charter schools initiated a strike on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 (WTTW).

This strike has meant that around 600 students have been out of school for nearly a week. It also means that non-union teachers have faced difficulties that they had no choice in.

And it seems there’s no end in sight as attempts at negotiations continue with little success.
