Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos has a good understanding of how teacher union officials stymie education reform and therefore harm students.  While her power over teacher union officials’ forced dues power may be limited, Secretary DeVos has the power to take on education reform blockers.  Katie Kieffer has the story on Townhall.com, pointing out that younger teachers are not satisfied with teacher union officials’ services either.

“Lame! Lame! Lame!” Betsy could have hollered back at activists who were upset that she intended to reform a school badly in need of reform. But she didn’t.
