PA Strikers Ordered Back to Work

Teacher union officials called a strike in the Dallas School District of Pennsylvania, were ordered back to work. Michael P. Buffer has the story in the Citizens Voice.

A Luzerne County judge issued a temporary restraining order Tuesday requiring Dallas School District teachers to end their strike and go back to work today.

Teachers went on strike Tuesday after the school board didn’t vote at Monday’s meeting on a new labor contract offer from the teachers union. Luzerne County Judge William Amesbury signed the court order and scheduled a hearing for 2 p.m. today.
