Mike Antonucci explains how much union officials who called the LA strike actually negotiated for their members. Such a deal!
Kyle Stokes of LAist covered the Los Angeles teacher strike like a blanket, and his most recent find is a side agreement between the district and union regarding how teacher pay will be reduced for the days missed during the walkout.
Strikers lost seven days of pay, but the two sides agreed that the total amount would not be deducted from a single monthly paycheck. Rather, it will be spread out over the next six months.
