The Kokomo Teachers Association is the exclusive representative for the district. They asked for, and received this honor. Yet only 42.6 percent of the district’s teachers are members of the Kokomo Teachers Association. Less than half. Most monopoly bargaining agreements are put into place when the teacher union can prove they represent 50% plus one of the teachers in the district.
