A Call to Action in West Virginia

Sen. Rollan Roberts represents the 9th Senate District of West Virginia and his letter appears in the Register-Herald of Beckley, West Virginia.

Let us add to his call and remind all public school teachers and school employees may resign their union membership at any time and should go to myjanusrights.org for more information on how to resign their union membership fully and effectively.   Those seeking real professional support in their careers are welcome to check out West Virginia Professional Educators.   Any teacher or pubic employee who has trouble resigning their union membership should contact the National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation for free confidential legal advice.

Reprehensible, vindictive, retaliatory and hypocritical are words that describe the present behavior of the teacher and service personnel unions in West Virginia.

Signing petitions, picketing, boycotting and posting of businesses to avoid because certain legislators are affiliated with them is not representative of respectable teachers and service personnel in the majority. Pledges to ruin and destroy the lives and livelihoods of legislators because of disagreement with a vote they cast is over-the-top and crosses a dangerous line.
