Are Union Presidents Like Randi Weingarten Alienating Teachers?

Because so many AFT* and NEA* national and state efforts appear to have little to do with increasing educational quality and improving classroom learning environments, CEAFU decided to ask an education specialist for her thoughts.   We reached out to Kali Fontanilla, who agreed to appear online to answer our and your questions. (Register below for this Friday’s CEAFU Lunch with Kali.)

We hope you will join us, ask Kali questions, and tell us about what is going on at your school.

If you are a teacher currently in a union who wishes to leave your union, our legal foundation can provide you free assistance.  And, if you’re curious about the availability of non-union options to the NEA and AFT, we’d be pleased to provide you with their contact information.

Kali is serving as CRC’s Senior fellow, particularly focusing on topics related to K-12 public education. She has 15 years of experience as a credentialed educator working in public and Christian schools teaching multiple subjects and grade levels. Her rebuttal statement to Prop 16 in California helped to stop the push for legal “reverse racism” and a new extreme version of “affirmative action” in 2020. She wrote the guide for the BLEXIT Foundation to expose the dangers of Critical Race Theory. After leaving the public school system, Kali founded the Exodus Institute, a fully accredited K-12 grade online school that seeks to redefine education in the 21st century by joining technology with traditional values. She has been featured in newspapers across the country including the Epoch Times, Associated Press, Boston Globe, etc. (source: Kali Fontanilla’s Capital Research Center page)
