Boston University Graduate Workers Union Strikes Continue

Boston University Graduate Workers Union (BUGWU) initiated a strike on March 25th, 2024 and it has yet to end. 

This strike raises several important questions, such as whether students are really “employees” and whether this creates issues with foreign student visa employees.  

Regardless, students and employees have a right to choose whether or not to join a union and participate in their activities.
